Tablesetter.com is an online service that allows our members to set up unique personal profiles linked together through networks; construct an online restaurant resume, and confidentially rate their current and past working establishments while networking to pursue their career dreams. Your profile page will act as your “Virtual Card (V-card).” Tablesetter.com members can only view someone’s V-card when that person directly sends their V-card to an individual posting a need. There is no search or query for people to randomly search profiles to contact you at their discretion. The only people who will contact you are the people you choose to share your ideas and talents with. Tablesetter.com members can edit their profile at anytime by accessing their edit profile option and solely decide what information to put on their profile page.

The Way We Use Information:

We use your E-mail address to send you an initial confirmation regarding your Tablesetter.com account, which you confirm one time, to access the site. Additionally, any E-mail sent to you by Tablesetter.com will be to either:

1) Answer any E-mail we receive from you.

2) To confirm a purchase.

3) Notify you of any job opportunities that you have requested.

4) Inform you of any updates or news regarding the service.

5) Any changes in rules, regulations or guidelines regarding the use of the site.

We will not share, sell, or distribute your Email address with any third party. Spam has become all too common…No need for more!

Relationship with Restaurateurs

Tablesetter.com provides a service to restaurant owners by providing them with an extensive database of resumes by individuals looking to work in said restaurant. Restaurant owners will have access to a member’s resume only when:

1) A member submits its resume for consideration to an open job posting by an owner/management of a specified restaurant.

2) The member has submitted their resume to be kept on file within said restaurants on-line account.

Owners will not have the ability or access to openly search our database for members and resumes. This prevents the owner from contacting individuals who have no interest in working in their establishment, as well as, preventing an owner from searching the resumes for individuals who work in their establishment and participate in our website. We work hard to provide our members with a protected forum to provide open and honest answers regarding your working conditions without fear of repercussion.

Like most websites, the Tablesetter.com uses cookies for various purposes. For registered users, we use cookies to store user id and password information. For non-registered users, we use a cookie only to identify whether you are a return visitor. Third party advertisers on the site may also place cookies on your computer. Profile Submissions to Network Posts

Please be aware that whenever you voluntarily send your profile information to any journals, web logs, message boards, or public forum, the information can be accessed by the public and can in turn be used by those people to send you unsolicited communications.

Sharing and Disclosure of Information Tablesetter.com Collects

Except as otherwise described in this privacy statement, Tablesetter.com will not disclose personal information to any third party unless we believe that disclosure is necessary:

Invitations and Other Communications to Non-members

Tablesetter.com members can invite friends to join the service by sending invitation emails via our automated invitation system. Tablesetter.com does not sell these email addresses or use them to send any other communication besides invitations. Recipients of invitations from Tablesetter.com may contact Tablesetter.com to request the removal of their information from our database.

Information Security

We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and to share with advertisers. For example, we may tell an advertiser that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our website, or that Y number of men and Z number of women filled out our registration form, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.

Tablesetter.com member accounts are secured by member-created passwords. Tablesetter.com takes precautions to insure that member account information is kept private. We use reasonable measures to protect member information that is stored within our database, and we restrict access to member information to those employees who need access to perform their job functions, such as our customer service personnel and technical staff. Please note that we cannot guarantee the security of member account information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of member information at any time. However, Tablesetter.com will never deliberately provide any account information to any outside source, especially restaurant owners.

Our Commitment To Children's Privacy:

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 16, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 16.

How You Can Access Or Correct Your Information

You can access all your personally identifiable information that we collect online by viewing your profile for your respective account. To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.

Changes in Our Privacy Policy

From time to time we may make changes to our privacy policy. If we make changes, we will post them on our site to make users aware of what the changes are so users will always be aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and when we may disclose it. A user is bound by any minor changes to the policy when she or he uses the site after those changes have been posted. If, however, we are going to use users' personally identifiable information in a manner materially different from that stated at the time of collection, we will notify by posting a notice on our Web site for 30 days.
